Could one or two of you please have a look under your driver's side rear wheel for me? I have this...

I posted it on the Defender2 site and one guy said it's the breather pipe, and that it should be clipped downwards. However, another guy has said that it has obviously been broken at the end. Has it? It was serviced a few weeks back and I'm surprised they didn't spot it. Thanks.

Think that is the non return valve on the vapour separator.

It looks like the pressure relief valve for the evaporative emission control unit. They should be open to the atmosphere. Mine looks just the same

Its ok do not worry, just tie it back a bit. It shows the pipe cut at an angle.
