My beloved classic V8 rangie has been condemned by the MOT man, and I'm looking for a replacement.
I remember how much I enjoyed driving my mate's supercharged 4.6 litre 50th edition 90, and having driven late 90's - I realise it's a 50th that I want.
I'm not looking for a "nice one that needs some tlc", or a minter.
My plan is to and refurbish it top to bottom, as I want this car to last me for 20 years, so I'd be spending a lot of time and money on it to get it 100%
Also, the engine in my RRC is a late 4.6 one from a P38, has high compression ratio and is in perfect condtion, having covered only 25,000 miles. Also, my auto transmission is 100%.
So - I'm probably looking for a bit of a basket case, probably needing a new chassis - maybe even one that's a total loss, and rebuild it with new chassis etc,. maybe one with a slipped liner? or a combination of all three???
Any out there at sensible money?
Ta,
Mike. |

Mike, give Tony Fox a call on 0798 5959591. I think it might well be a good call for you to make. Tell him Barry Foster gave you his number. Good guy to deal with. _________________ Barry
