Hi,

We are restoring GB152 and getting to the interior (and getting fussy:-)). The decals that sit next to the gear shift showing the gear position have worn, so much so you can't really see the numbers and letters anymore.

Does anyone know where I might be able to source some of these - or even get some made? I have had a look around the web without any luck so far.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Trevor.

Also a guide to help remove centre console

You do really have to lift the console from the rear and a 45 degrees to get it to clear the air con dash bits - but not too tricky.

Refitting is the same - the angle is the key.

Once you've done it once you'll see its not too bad.

Hi V8GPC,

You don't happen to know if you can change the bulb in the Auto Indicator without taking the console off?

One is working at the moment - so will not rush it if I have to do it Smile

The lamps are at each side, so no access from the top.

You may be able to remove the inner tray and reach in with your hand (the lamp holders only push in).

I've had the console out; but never trying to change the lamps in situ

Failing then unbolt the centre console, and you'll only have to lift it slightly to get in from the top. This doesn't involve any major manoeuvring as you don't need to get the console free from the dash.

You can change a bulb in situ but you need to remove the rear tray section and be quite flexible, it's possible but bloody hard to do. When I replaced my selector as per the linked thread I just put new bulbs in before I fitted it.
