Very cheeky to ask but if anyone did win this wing and is willing to sell it even with a profit, I am is desperate need of a wing as this is one of the parts land rover cannot supply to rebuild my damaged 50th.
I even had a alarm set on E bay!
All the best. _________________ Steve

On our visit to Defender Production Line at Solihull we were told they would keep the details to be able to produce them still..... |

I know, I was there when they said that, but the 50th wings are not listed on Landrover classic, my guess is they skipped them. _________________ Steve

|
|
Other than the obvious hole for the rollcage - is there any other difference between this and wings for standard parts?
I know there is the difference between air intakes on the offside, but on the nearside, wouldn't the standard 300tdi wing work with a little 'modification'?
For example: https://www.sp-4x4.com/LAND_ROVER_DEFENDER_300TDI_OUTER_WING_p/alr6121.htm
Just curious as my NS wing has a few bumps in it. _________________ GB320

Yes it’s the same otherwise. However the same could be said for Td5 wing - the only mod would be to elongate the indicator hole.....
Much easier to have the correct part in the first place |

Thanks.
Completely agree. Same often the case with genuine vs pattern parts.
But when one is hundreds of pounds and unavailable vs £80 and next day delivery, sometimes its easier to make the mod.
I thought the td5 indicator hole was too big - so couldnt be used? _________________ GB320
