|
|
Hi All,
Yep, It's Sunday and I'm playing on fixing little jobs
Trying to sort out why my trailer light comes on when the indicators are on (the trailer indicator works fine when the trailer is connected).
I've changed the relay - but not totally sure if I am using the correct one.
I've swapped over the Hazard switch with one I had
I've swapped the bulb on the instrument panel
What I have noticed is that the trailer light is much weaker than the other lights on the dashboard - is that the same for all of the 50th's / Defenders?
If not, then I guess I either have below 12V at the dash or an earthing problem |

It should flash once when you put the indicator on with nothing connected to the trailer socket. That let's you know the bulb is OK. If it's flashing more than once and is dim it would suggest an earthing problem somewhere. That will be fun to find! |
