Hi all,

I've changed the Stepper Injection Motor (ERR4352 - MOTOR-MULTI POINT INJECTION STEPPING) -

http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1228/13789/14762/1161/15032

but I've read up on a couple of forums that when a new one is fitted it needs to be calibrated by the ECU and you need to do this via ECUMate or similiar....

Can anyone confirm this please ?

Some useful info; it maybe that you need to reset the long term adaptive idle; it may relearn this over a few driving cycles.

i'm not sure eitherway and don't have a nanocom to check.
Somone with more experience would know.

Alternatively you could contact Mark Adams at Tornado Systems who is the guru when it comes to GEMS systems

http://www.tornadosystems.com/contact-us/

If it did require some reset; he would be able to do this for you if you sent the ECU.

The Idle Air valve (stgepper motor) doesnt need recalibration. It should go through check cycle when engine started after replacement.
If the airflow meter is changed then yes you will need to do a relearn from Autologic or other suitable diagnostics and then go for a drive for approx 45mins on different types of driving.

hopefully you've solved the problem by now, but if not I've thrown this utility together for these types of problems.
