Hi,

I have no association with this, but have an Ebay search saved.

In case anyone is looking for a NS wing

Very cheeky to ask but if anyone did win this wing and is willing to sell it even with a profit, I am is desperate need of a wing as this is one of the parts land rover cannot supply to rebuild my damaged 50th.

I even had a alarm set on E bay!

All the best.

I know, I was there when they said that, but the 50th wings are not listed on Landrover classic, my guess is they skipped them.

PostPosted: Fri Feb 23, 2018 10:09 am    Post subject: Differences to standard wing? Reply with quote

Other than the obvious hole for the rollcage - is there any other difference between this and wings for standard parts?

I know there is the difference between air intakes on the offside, but on the nearside, wouldn't the standard 300tdi wing work with a little 'modification'?

For example: https://www.sp-4x4.com/LAND_ROVER_DEFENDER_300TDI_OUTER_WING_p/alr6121.htm

Just curious as my NS wing has a few bumps in it.

Yes it’s the same otherwise. However the same could be said for Td5 wing - the only mod would be to elongate the indicator hole.....
Much easier to have the correct part in the first place

Thanks.

Completely agree. Same often the case with genuine vs pattern parts.

But when one is hundreds of pounds and unavailable vs £80 and next day delivery, sometimes its easier to make the mod.

I thought the td5 indicator hole was too big - so couldnt be used?
